Last year when we first formed our Tuesday group several of us were talking about two books by Frank Viola. The books Pagan Christianity and Reimagining the Church were very negative about the current state of the church and left some people feeling beat up.

Frank wrote a new book “From Here to Eternity”. I just finished reading the first of 3 sections to Shari. It is about the bride of Jesus. It is written very beautifully and though it is not poetry it has a poetic feel to it.

The next two sections are the body of Christ and the family of Christ. The section on the body of Christ is much more technical and less poetic or romantic in nature.
I think the book has something for everyone and will encourage everyone with hope that the church really is God’s heart and passion and the church is at the center of God’s plan and purpose for eternity.
