The Jesus Experiment is just a place for folks to gather together and explore where God is headed in their lives. Most of us are recently churchless but desire to be in community with each other, so we continue to do so daily.

We are exploring other bodies of believers and what their practices are, as well as experimenting with what the church (and our faith) CAN be. In many ways our model is the Acts 2 church, the days of the very beginning of the church, when God was actively involved in what was happening in believers’ lives daily, where people worshiped whole heartedly, desired relationship with Jesus and each other, and expected Jesus to be present and active in their gatherings. It was His presence that drew people to Him and the church, and led to people being transformed authentically. That is what we desire most, to see people come to know Jesus in a personal and authentic way.
